My Solo Flight, Sacred Framework: Living on Purpose at 67

June 11, 20251 min read

There’s something sacred about learning to accommodate yourself—not out of limitation, but out of liberation.

For me, living with ADHD and a heightened sensory mindset means I’ve had to be deliberate, not just with what I do, but how I do it. I know the tools I need. I know the rhythms that keep me from burnout. I’m no longer guessing—I’m grounding.

But let’s be honest: it’s a delicate dance.

As a 67-year-old woman navigating life without a spouse, I’m not just rebuilding—I’m reframing. My life is not a placeholder. It’s a promise—a promise to myself that I can soar even while I serve, that I can manage responsibilities and still make space to build something meaningful.

Being introverted doesn’t mean I’m not bold—I’m intentional with my energy. I don’t pour from an empty cup. And though I may not be loud, I am rooted.

Running a business, especially one rooted in holistic wellness, while having responsibilities, isn’t just multitasking. It’s a soul call to harmonize what seems like opposite worlds: care and commerce, stillness and strategy, rest and resilience.

I’ve come a long way. And I’m still learning to “roll with the punches.” But now, I do it with clarity, boundaries, and a renewed mindset.

I call it my solo flight.
Not because I’m alone—but because I’m aligned.
Not because I have it all figured out—but because I trust the wind beneath me.
Not because I don’t miss the old rhythm—but because I’m creating a better one.

So if you’re figuring it out too—if you’re building from a place that doesn’t always make sense to others—keep going.
This journey isn’t about justifying.
It’s about
honoring the design that fits you best.
